{"id":8321,"date":"2010-05-13T11:26:08","date_gmt":"2010-05-13T15:26:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=8321"},"modified":"2010-05-13T11:26:08","modified_gmt":"2010-05-13T15:26:08","slug":"okada-man-hit-and-run-says-police-can-do-nothing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=8321","title":{"rendered":"Okada Man Hit and Run \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Says Police Can Do Nothing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Thursday 12<sup>th<\/sup> May 2010 at about 12 pm, an Okada man (in photograph) from nowhere hit another bike rider with registration number ABV 263 at Pademba Road, Liverpool Street intercession in central Freetown, leaving his colleague rider with serious injuries and bluffing that the police can do nothing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sallu Manga Kamara who was hit right in front of the office of Sierra Express Media immediately rushed to report the matter to reporters available at the time to cover the eventual skirmish that erupted after the incident. Mr. Kamara complained that the okada rider hit him, coming from Siaka Stevens Street through Liverpool, running into him unchecked in full gear, wrecking untold injuries on him and deciding against taking responsibility for his act and boasting to have police protection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sallu Kamara further reported that his bike was also damage but to his surprise, the Traffic Police present at the scene paid no heed to the incident and was busied with his own affairs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Residents and commuters at Liverpool Street expressed their dismay at the way and manner the okada riders are misbehaving in the centre of the Freetown municipality.
