Meaningful Sierra Leoneans have described the decision of the famous monologue presenter, Dr. David Tam-Baryoh as a stepping stone in the right direction for the fact that majority of the people believed he has performed a well done job.<\/p>\n
Many are criticizing the action of the famous broadcaster for abandoning his job and join the incumbent, All Peoples Congress (APC) party. The reality is that, Journalist Bayoh was a Government critic but he realized that the current administration is decentralizing development in every nook and cranny of the country.<\/p>\n
Prior to his declaration, Tam-Baryoh who is now the APC Kono Publicity Secretary was broadcasting that he would join any political party of his choice, so what is wrong if the erudite media guru joins the APC family? \u00a0Would there be any discord if the popular presenter cum politician joins the static opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP)?<\/p>\n
Did Sierra Leoneans expected\u00a0 a developmentally oriented man like Tam-Baryoh to join a minority or less popular party that never made a mark in the country\u2019s development arena.<\/p>\n
Tam-Baryoh\u2019s declaration for the APC demonstrated that the Ernest Bai Koroma\u2019s led APC Government has decentralized development not only in Kono District but in all the four cardinal points of Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
Leave Tam-Baryoh alone to exercise his right and freedom of belonging in any society or social gathering because he is a Sierra Leonean like any other citizen. A lot of people have defected from SLPP to APC but nobody says anything, why are they clamoring? Is it because Tam-Baryoh is one of the most famous sons of Kono District where the two main political parties are always scrambling to gain majority of electorates?<\/p>\n
Dr. David Tam-Baryoh did not betray anybody but supporting the ongoing development in the country and above all to continue protecting President Koroma\u2019s lasting legacies.<\/p>\n
