King Jimmy youths last weekend on 8 November hailed Hon. Alpha Osman Timbo in central Freetown, calling him a man of integrity, in whom lies the hope of the main opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) .<\/p>\n
Sanpha Kabba, Chairman of the newly formed King Jimmy Support Group, said their trust has been rightly placed, with nothing to regret about.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe see commitment in Hon. Timbo,\u201d he told colleague youths, and narrated his achievements that include the setting up of NASSIT when he was Minister of Labour and Social Security in the past SLPP administration, and the initiating and setting up of the industrial court, plus other areas.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will not only stop at this support group,\u201d he revealed to listeners that included top SLPP stalwarts, including its chairman PC Somano Kapen, and the party\u2019s aspirant for Member of Parliament position for Constituency 107, Alhaji Mustapha Kamara.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are going to form a football club bearing Alpha Timbo\u2019s name,\u201d he enthused.<\/p>\n
In his response to the gestures of the King Jimmy Support Group, Hon. Alpha O Timbo said he was very happy to be associated with the youths of Constituency 107, many of whom he has known personally, and has come to respect.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor the moment, I urge you to come out massively and show solidarity for our candidate for constituency 107 on 14 November,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is your opportunity to show the ruling APC that they have failed you the youths.\u201d<\/p>\n
