A local Non-governmental\u00a0\u00a0 humanitarian organisation, Young Professionals has donated food and non-food items to 45 survivors discharged at the Hastings Ebola Treatment Centre.<strong> \u00a0(<\/strong><em>Photo:<\/em><em>Lawyer Brima Kargbo making the donation through the Deputy Health Minister II<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Presenting the items, an Executive member, Lawyer Brima Kargbo described the medical personnel in the front-line as the Bai Bureh and Sengbe Piehs of Sierra Leone in the fight to contain the Ebola outbreak in the country. \u201cWe are celebrating such a huge success at the centre.\u201d Lawyer Kargbo joyfully said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He called on Sierra Leoneans to help contribute in the fight against the deadly disease, adding that no contribution at this difficult time will be consider small in the current crisis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He commended the efforts of the ministry for the good work, and reiterated their commitment to do more in complimenting the efforts of Government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Coordinator at the Centre, Dr. Santigie Sesay noted the continued support by Young Professionals, maintaining that the items would be very essential for the wellbeing of the survivors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a related development, the Sierra Leone Business women Hub, an organization promoting the education and welfare of women and the girl child also donated toiletries and other items to the survivors.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_71420\" style=\"width: 456px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sem.lamtech.sl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Young-Business-Women-Hub-making-their-donation.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71420\" class=\"size-full wp-image-71420\" src=\"http:\/\/sem.lamtech.sl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Young-Business-Women-Hub-making-their-donation.jpg\" alt=\"Young Business Women Hub making their donation\" width=\"446\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-71420\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Young Business Women Hub making their donation<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The presentation was done on behalf of the group by one of the members.<\/p>\n<p><em>BY IDRISSA CONTEH (INTERN, MOHS)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Stay with Sierra Express Media, for your trusted place in news!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Freetown, Oct. 23, 014 (MOHS) &#8211;
