REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR REVIEW AND UPDATE OF THE ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES MANUAL FOR THE SIERRA LEONE ROADS AUTHORITY<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone shall allocate financing, through its Road Maintenance Fund, which shall be utilized for payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for the Review and Update of the Accounting Procedures Manual.<\/p>\n

The services under the contract will include: Review of the existing Manual, with the view to updating it, considering developments that have taken place in the Organization\u2019s financial operations since the preparation and adoption of the Manual in 2002 such as: (i) The Public Procurement Act of 2004; (ii) the introduction of the Great Plains Accounting Software; (iii) amendments to the Tax Law; (iv) internal controls in the perspective of recent developments; and (v) payment procedures relating to the various donor-financed projects.<\/p>\n

The Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).<\/p>\n

For Consultants to be eligible for the services, they must be a registered professional individual consultant or a national firm of professional accountants.<\/p>\n
