Sierra Leone international Kei Kamara who was a deadline day transfer for Middlesbrough was part of the Boro’ squad that lost to Ipswich town 3-1 in the English Championship league last weekend at Portman road.<\/p>\n
The 29-year old striker who penned a two year deal from Major League Soccer club Sporting Kansas City started on the bench after him only just returning from international duty helping native Sierra Leone defeat Equatorial Guinea 3-1.<\/p>\n
Kamara was assessed by the Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray after his return to the UK to see if the former Kansas man was fit enough for last Saturday’s trip to Ipswich Town but he only made the bench.<\/p>\n
Boro’ was in front in the 12th minute, courtesy of Albert Adomah’s scissor-kick from Grant Leadbitter’s headed ball.<\/p>\n
