{"id":53757,"date":"2013-03-05T20:23:02","date_gmt":"2013-03-05T20:23:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=53757"},"modified":"2013-03-05T20:23:02","modified_gmt":"2013-03-05T20:23:02","slug":"scam-minister-accuses-abdul-noah-of-land-grabbing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=53757","title":{"rendered":"Scam\u2026 Minister Accuses Abdul Noah of Land Grabbing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minister of Lands, Musa Tarawally (photo) Tuesday 5<sup>th<\/sup> corroborates act of \u2018land grabbing\u2019 by a businessman Abdul Noah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He made this disclosure while reacting to allegations by Abdul Noah that his land, situated at Lumley Beach Road has been trespassed by the Lands Ministry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Minister who annoyingly unveiled falsified land plans bearing the name of the father of Abdul Noah as owner of a state land at the Horticultural Sub Station land at Lumley said his Ministry intends to institute court action against the named businessman.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAbdul Noah, international businessman and owner of Dad\u2019s Car Center at Lumley, some weeks ago submitted land plans to my ministry, including a composite master plan bearing his name as owner of a state land at Lumley,\u201d Minister Tarawally said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPlan 1 explains of a land with acreage of 1.2 situated at Wilkinson Road; plan 2 an acreage of 3.57 situated at the Aberdeen Creek and plan 3 with nameless acreage and location.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe composite plan LS 85\/81 as submitted by Abdul appears to have been fraudulently prepared, as it identifies one Sembu Kanu of Personage Street as lawful owner thereby questioning the legality of the document.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Facts have it that the Ministry of Lands lately knocked down a fence erected by Abdul on land found lying and situated at the Horticultural Sub Station at Lumley, allegedly owned by government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This, our findings reveal, signaled disagreement between the Minister of Lands and Abdul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The incident afterwards saw Abdul calling a press meeting informing media officials that his land has been hoodwinked by the Ministry of Lands.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Investigations are that a complaint of fraud\/land grabbing has been made to the police by officials of the Lands Ministry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Findings also have it that the land in question, some years ago, was utilized by the Chinese upon agreement between the governments of Sierra Leone and China.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is a fact that land grabbing, as typically the case, is a household name in Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All, including top government officials, on a number of occasions, have had endless moments commandeering lands owned and belonging to the state at will.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even though the police are yet to confirm\u00a0investigating alleged land fraud against Abdul, plans submitted by the latter seem contradictory and full of deceit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abdul insists the Lumley Beach Road land was acquired by his father M.
