He also provided advisory training and policy development services to developing Commonwealth countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marah was Chief of Staff in President Koroma\u2019s first Government and performed remarkably well in that capacity. He has also contributed immensely to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals for Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As an internationally recognised public finance expert, Dr. Marrah\u2019s appointment as Finance Minister has been described by many Sierra Leoneans as a step in the right direction.
