{"id":46235,"date":"2012-08-14T14:01:49","date_gmt":"2012-08-14T14:01:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=46235"},"modified":"2012-08-14T14:01:49","modified_gmt":"2012-08-14T14:01:49","slug":"brima-keita-competition-commences-in-grand-style","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=46235","title":{"rendered":"Brima Keita Competition Commences in Grand Style"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The much trumpeted and eagerly awaited Brima Keita Football Inter-community Competition commenced on Sunday 12<sup>th<\/sup> August, 2012 at the K Tee Playing Field, Kingtom, Freetown.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The opening ceremony kicked-off in front of a host of dignitaries including the sponsor \u2013 Chairman, Brima Keita.\u00a0 In gracing this ceremony, local based musicians performed and engaged a football friendly against Sports Journalists which ended 3-1 in favor of the musicians.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The kick-off was taken by the Chairman, Brima Keita accompanied by some other high profile football gigs including former Bank Governor J .D. Roger, in which Crab Tong Vs. \u00a0Kroo Bay FC played in the opening match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Both teams commenced the match with a classical display; Crab Tong FC took the lead through a penalty kick by Osman Mansaray in the 21st minute of the first half.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ibrahim Kamara popularly known as Gareth Bale leveled the score in mid second half to settle for a point each.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The match between Krootown Road FC and Priscilla Street FC on Monday August 13<sup>th<\/sup> \u00a0\u00a0ended in a comfortable 3-1 victory in favor of Krootown Road FC, and on Tuesday 14<sup>th <\/sup>August, Janet Lane FC will lock horns with Israel FC.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Stay with Sierra Express Media, for your trusted place in news!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<hr align=\"center\" size=\"2\" width=\"100%\" \/>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The much trumpeted and eagerly awaited Brima Keita Football Inter-community Competition commenced on Sunday 12th August, 2012 at the K Tee Playing Field, Kingtom, Freetown.
