Mr. Abdul Kamara, a trailer driver with registration Number AED 233, of 19 Scotland Street, on Friday July 20th,\u00a0 collided with two motorbike riders at Kissy Road at around 10:00 pm.\u00a0\u00a0 According to the \u00a0driver, he was driving along Savage Street with a 40′ container when he heard a loud shout in an attempt to stop him.\u00a0 He said after applying his footbrake, he noticed a motor bike and the rider right under the tyres of the trailer.<\/p>\n
According to the District Traffic Officer, Mohamed Kamara,\u00a0 Ross Road Police Division, he said they were \u00a0at the station when they heard a distress call from a concerned citizen that a \u00a0fatal accident had\u00a0 happened at Kissy Road.\u00a0 He said \u00a0eyewitnesses told the police that the two bike riders attempted to overtake the trailer carrying a 40′ container resulting in a collision and loss of life of one Alusine\u00a0 Kolifh Koroma, 5 Donsen Lane, off Kissy Road.<\/p>\n
Police source stated that the deceased was identified by Ibrahim Sorie Conteh of the same address with the other rider currently being at the Emergency Hospital awaiting identification from the public.<\/p>\n
