Sierra Leone’s High Commissioner to the United\u00a0Kingdom, \u00a0Edward M. Turay attended the Mayor of Lambeth\u2019s Cultural \u201cTarancis\u201d Extravaganza in the UK and the first Sierra Leonean movie to be premiered in the UK, \u201cPerfect Plan,\u201d shown at the London Odeon in the Docklands. The High Commissioner attended this historical event and was there in style mingling with Sierra Leoneans and other nationals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perfect Plan is a story about a selfish housewife who wants all for herself and she ends up losing everything with the help from her husband. The movie deals with Love, Revenge, and Temptation. Perfect Plan is directed by Adeyemi Lardner and has an all Sierra Leonean cast.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The Mayor of Lambeth Cultural Tarancis Extravaganza and the Perfect Plan Movie Premier at the Docklands Odeon Cinema were bursting with countless Sierra Leoneans and other nationals. This created a platform for audiences to rejoice in the culture of Sierra Leone as they experienced the performance at the cinema.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sierra Leone High Commissioner Edward Turay stated that he will continue to support the good causes for\u00a0 the development of Sierra Leone together\u00a0with rebranding the country\u2019s image abroad, the attitudinal change of Sierra Leoneans, and setting the standard for all Sierra Leoneans to emulate in helping to push forward good thinking such as this.<\/span><\/p>\n

This movie can be related to by different tribal and political lines unifying the country in a positive, creative,\u00a0 and educational experience while hosting guests and sharing in the world of cinema together. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sierra Leone \u2018Perfect Plan\u2019 movie premiere was a wonderful experience and Sierra Leoneans were very happy to see that the High Commissioner took time out of his busy schedule to attend our first feature film to be shown in the United Kingdom.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is reassuring and rewarding to call all Sierra Leoneans to watch this space for more like this to come!<\/span><\/p>\n
