He maintained that, although recommendations have been advanced by the Professor Gbamanjah\u2019s Report in 2011 the situation is still appalling as students\u2019 examination results remain below standards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Thomas cautioned students whom he termed as ambassadors of their various schools must desist from violence, drug abuse, disrespect for authorities, misuse of their limited times on non-educative activities, examination malpractices, showing dislike for certain subjects, especially the sciences that could earn them better jobs in the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Executive Director ended by calling on the students and teachers to work ethically together in promoting education since the country\u2019s development heavily relies upon it.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_35827\" style=\"width: 346px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a class=\"highslide\" onclick=\"return vz.expand(this)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/National_Coordinator_and_Second-in-Command_making_her_presentation_at_Kulafai_Rashidden_Islamic_Secondary_School.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35827\" class=\"size-full wp-image-35827\" title=\"National_Coordinator_and_Second-in-Command_making_her_presentation_at_Kulafai_Rashidden_Islamic_Secondary_School\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/National_Coordinator_and_Second-in-Command_making_her_presentation_at_Kulafai_Rashidden_Islamic_Secondary_School.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-35827\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">National Coordinator and Second-in-Command making her presentation at Kulafai Rashidden Islamic Secondary School<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While addressing their hosts the National Coordinator and Second-in-Command of the ABC Secretariat, Madam Nanette Thomas informed that attitudes and behaviours are centered on how human beings think, feel and desire. She maintained that while attitudes are innate, behaviours can be easily discerned. Madam Thomas stressed that attitudes and behaviours form everything about human life and are suppose to be positive. She stressed that positive attitude is the power that drives everyone to success.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She called on the students to take their studies seriously, as according to her their prospective academic qualifications would be their determinants of bagging payable jobs in the future. According to her, if students exploit their spare time to be visiting libraries instead of watching Nigerian films or other non-educative stuffs their performances are bound to improve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Madam Thomas furthered stated that, the attitude of procrastination which has become a culture among students must be avoided since it stands to be the major cause of massive failure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She went on to advice the male teachers to desist from sexually abusing the female students and described this immoral act as not just unprofessional, but a criminal and punishable offence. She advised the female students to resist sexual orgies because indulging in them will not only put them out of school but reliable to kill them; because at their age pregnancy and labour are life threatening.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Both Principals of the schools, Joseph A. Sandy and Dr. Allieu.M.Bah respectively commended the ABC Secretariat for visiting and sensitizing their students and teachers. They assured that the lectures will definitely lead to remarkable examination successes at both internal and external examinations this academic year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Giving a vote of thanks a senior student of the Fergusson Memorial School, Samuel Sandy called on his colleagues to adopt the ABC concept as in his view this will not only materialize the educational dreams of Sierra Leoneans, but other yearned for sartorial advancements.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Making a comment the Vice Principal of Kulafai Rashideen Islamic School, Sumaila . B.
