{"id":33825,"date":"2012-01-13T05:07:38","date_gmt":"2012-01-13T05:07:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=33825"},"modified":"2012-01-13T05:07:38","modified_gmt":"2012-01-13T05:07:38","slug":"hummel-academies-danish-coach-visits-sierra-leone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=33825","title":{"rendered":"Hummel Academies\u2026 Danish coach visits Sierra Leone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Former Danish national football player and coach for Danish top clubs, Erik Rasmussen Thursday 12<\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: x-small;\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> arrived in Sierra Leone to put plans into action for the commencement of coaching programmes in the country with local expatriates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Rasmussen<\/strong> who currently works for D.G.I, one of the biggest sporting organizations in Denmark wants to help the world\u2019s sixth largest sporting brand (Hummel) in their quest to put up academies in the country to enhance the promotion of football.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">According to Hummel\u2019s Country Director in Sierra Leone, Fred Claye, the Danish football big man visit to Sierra Leone is meant to kick start the proposed Hummel football academies in partnership with DGI to be constructed in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Adding, that with Rasmussen it is sure the coaching aspects will easily be dealt with, while Hummel will be in charge of the construction of academies, which according to him, is a joint and concerted effort by the aforementioned companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Claye maintained that Rasmussen will also examine possible channels in which he could use in collaborating with Sierra Leonean coaches during his visit so as to keep football coaches abreast with the challenges that lie ahead. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">He noted that Sierra Leone stands to benefit a lot from this project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u201cErik is expected to witness a football tournament organized by Play 31, an organization partnering with Hummel in Moyamba.
