Election 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">2012 is considered by many as the \u2018dawn of a new year;\u2019 a year of new age.\u00a0 A year in which the nation is seen turning a new chapter as it approaches the November 17<sup>th<\/sup> Presidential, Parliamentary, and Local Council elections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">It seems quite apparent that the November 17<sup>th<\/sup> election is peculiar, as for the first time in the history of Sierra Leone has an election for four contestable positions is, in a single day been conducted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">To these, came public\u2019s insinuations that the police, dissimilar to other security sectors are, but the least, expected to exhibit their responsibilities within the ambits of trust, sincerity and due diligence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">But by the practical look of things, even as we speak, 80% of police have overindulged into institutional neglect;
