Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Technical Director says the Leone Stars did not qualify to the 2012 Nations Cup because they failed to score an early goal against South Africa\u2019s Bafana Bafana.<\/p>\n
The final Group G match which ended 0-0 was played on October 8 2011 in Nelspurit in South Africa.<\/p>\n
Sam Obi Metzger said: \u201cbefore the match the South Africans were under pressure and should Leone Stars have scored in the first half that would have completely shattered the hopes of their opponents.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cbut because we did not score an early goal caused our team to come under immense pressure in the first 35 minutes of the match.\u201d<\/p>\n
