{"id":27529,"date":"2011-08-08T01:06:26","date_gmt":"2011-08-08T05:06:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=27529"},"modified":"2011-08-08T01:06:26","modified_gmt":"2011-08-08T05:06:26","slug":"salone-judiciary-shines-like-rotten-wood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=27529","title":{"rendered":"Salone Judiciary &#8216;shines like rotten wood&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The above extract is drawn from an\u00a0 English poet called Sir Walter Raleigh in his poem \u2018The Soul&#8217;s Errand.\u2019 The poet lashes on the ills surrounding not only the church and potentates (leaders) but also the court which is supposed to dispense judicial matters in any given society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Raleigh instructed the soul as the body\u2019s guest to convey his message to the court; about its delay and effectiveness of carrying its right functions. The poet who wrote this poem on the eve of his death never hesitated to say; \u2018The court glows and shines like a rotten wood\u2019 ironically, the shines that the poet refers to provokingly means imperfectness of the court to deliver its functions.
