{"id":26269,"date":"2011-07-13T10:30:56","date_gmt":"2011-07-13T14:30:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=26269"},"modified":"2011-07-13T10:30:56","modified_gmt":"2011-07-13T14:30:56","slug":"kids-president-reports-state-lodge-guards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=26269","title":{"rendered":"Kids President reports State Lodge guards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The President for Kids Advocacy Network Sierra Leone Tuesday 11<sup>th<\/sup> received police medical report form shortly after informing the police at New England Ville that he was brutally assaulted by guards attached to the First Lady.\u00a0 <em>(Photo:\u00a0 Edmund Fornah\u00a0on a previous visit, shaking hands with\u00a0HE President Ernest Bai Koroma)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Edmund Fornah, who doubles as national President for Kids Advocacy Network Tuesday 5<sup>th<\/sup> was with one Chief Ya-Alimamy at the Presidential Lodge to see the First Lady Mrs. Sia Nyama Koroma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On their arrival, Chief Ya- Alimamy left Edmund at the basement of the building and therefore climbed steps leading to the upstairs apartment to notify the First Lady\u2019s secretary of their arrival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minutes after Chief Ya-Alimamy\u2019s parting, officers in civilian dresses unceremoniously approached the 14 year old boy (Edmund), accusing him of acting as undercover agent for the opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He without any excuse was dragged from the waiting room at the downstairs apartment and taken to the open walkway and beaten mercilessly by about four or more guards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Edmund, the guards cruelly, viciously beat him up and later threw him in the bushes around the building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAt some point,\u201d he said, \u201cI was not of myself at all.
