Over ten deprived communities in the Pujehun district have benefited from bore hole taps, VIP toilets, and storage facilities.<\/p>\n
The facilities were provided by Evangelical Fellowship Sierra Leone as a means of not only to complement government\u2019s efforts, but to create a better livelihood to communities in dire need.<\/p>\n
Residents of Ya Kemoh Kpukumu-Krim and Kpanga Kabondeh chiefdoms in the Pujehun district went cheering over facilities provided them by the EFSL and said such will help them live a meaningful life.<\/p>\n
The Manager Community Services Department, Gadiru Bassie, said the EFSL identifies the desires of the people through an assessment survey.<\/p>\n
He noted however that his organization is actively engaged in the transformation of lives and communities, as their mandate is geared towards advocacy and poverty reduction.<\/p>\n
He pledged the support of other humanitarian bodies to meet the needs of the underdeveloped communities in the country.<\/p>\n
Field Officer in Pujehun district, M.D Baindu Kenneh, revealed it is a challenging task to work with the deprived communities, but said they are committed to excellence and professionalism.<\/p>\n
She furthered that success requires action and that her organization acts as an example for maximum productivity.<\/p>\n
Commissioning the taps, the General Secretary of EFSL, Rev. Titus Williams, thanked God for helping them identify issues affecting human life, as their pledge is people focus, accountability, and trustworthiness.<\/p>\n
He cautioned Pujehun residents that all EFSL has done is for their good and must be handled with care.<\/p>\n
The team also donated bundles of Zinc and nails to Belebu and Gondama villages that suffered from fire disaster.<\/p>\n
