The adage: \u201cfor any rumour, there is always a jot of truth,\u201d hung in the minds of Sierra Leoneans when news broke out that the President\u2019s suitcase was in an indeterminate state.<\/p>\n

Bars, restaurants, highways, off roads and corners occupied lips of Sierra Leoneans, who unbelievably looked at information linking President Koroma and the alleged missing suitcase as damaging of government.<\/p>\n

It is a fact that Sierra Leoneans, particularly residents of Freetown have had uncomfortable moments pondering over allegations that a presidential suitcase believed to contain valuables was missing.<\/p>\n

Unconfirmed disclosures indicate that the alleged suitcase contained a colossal amount of \u2018bucks\u2019 dollars and a proposed plan for the construction of a bridge to Lungi.<\/p>\n

If for certain the briefcase of the President is missing, can this be true that it was stolen by his main guard, Idrissa Hamid Kamara also known as Leather Boot relayed in the gossip chat?<\/p>\n

Smart people ask questions, and that\u2019s what we always do at Sierra Express Media.<\/p>\n

Unconfirmed disclosures say that the police are aware of the allegation of a missing presidential suitcase, but ignore stepping up investigation to prove or disprove public\u2019s assertions.<\/p>\n

It could be recalled that successive heads of state, on number of occasions, rebuffed public allegations of their missing suitcases.<\/p>\n

Former President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah\u2019s suitcase was allegedly stolen at a prestigious hotel in France.<\/p>\n

The news was all over Freetown, but was cleverly refuted and laid to rest.<\/p>\n

Just recently, it was allegedly revealed that the suitcase of President Koroma was stolen by his own bodyguard.<\/p>\n

Whether the assertion is true or not, is the million dollar question society now asks.<\/p>\n

And if it is true that the alleged missing briefcase was stolen, will government correctly say it out loud to the general public?<\/p>\n
