Sierra Leone\u2019s Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, has had his services retained for another two years following his re-appointment by President Ernest Bai Koroma.\u00a0 (Photo: Deputy Mansa Ngegba)<\/p>\n
His Excellency Tamba Mansa Ngegba\u2019s appointment has been endorsed by a letter from the Office of the President through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is good news for me \u2013 and as far as I am concerned such re-appointment will serve as a motivation to continue to deliver what is expected of me by His Excellency the President,\u201d said HE Ngegba.<\/p>\n
Ngegba\u2019s re-appointment came as no surprise to many; having been a key and very powerful pillar not only for the ruling All People\u2019s Congress, but also in general, for the government and people of Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
His open-door policy which transcends beyond political and\/or regional lines has earned him great respect within the Sierra Leone community.<\/p>\n
Over the last two years, Ngegba has broken so much ground within diplomatic circles while representing his mission on behalf of the Government and people of Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
He has succeeded in developing a good relationship with the United Kingdom Border Agency (UNBA) and the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office as well as engaging in several activities in promoting President Koroma\u2019s Agenda For Change.<\/p>\n
Quite recently, the Deputy High Commissioner was honoured in Liverpool where he promoted the Agenda For Change at a programme organised by the Waterloo Partnership.<\/p>\n
Before his appointment as Sierra Leone\u2019s Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Tamba Mansa Ngegba was Chairman of the ruling All People\u2019s Congress (APC) United Kingdom\/Northern Ireland Branch \u2013 a position he held in high esteem making the branch one of the most respectable and most influential branches of the party.<\/p>\n
