We have 24 hour news piped into our homes, offices and  cell phones. We want to participate in what is going on. In Egypt, Iran,  Burma and China events are shaped and reshaped as netizens comment,  complain, organise and change their world. As High Commissioner I need  to understand events and trends around me. Government, parliament,  business, civil society and citizens have different perspectives.
