It also delivers many other spill over benefits to the communities in the form of heightened community awareness, greater disposition to adopt newer ways of doing things and ready responsiveness to democracy \u2013 all of which help to create a favourable investment climate for future development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, through the manufacture of this school furniture, Tullow created jobs for 11 welders and 7 carpenters over a period of three months.\u00a0 These young men were formerly, street kids, high school drop outs and unemployed youths who have been trained at the St. Joseph\u2019s Vocational Institute in Lunsar and work at a small artisanal centre that have been established by the St. Joseph\u2019s Fathers and Brothers of Murialdo who run the Vocational Institute and the Murialdo Secondary School in Lunsar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Playhouse Foundation: <\/strong>The Playhouse Foundation is a charitable organization that was established in 2009 by Mr. Abu Deedee Koroma and Ms. Finda Koroma in memory of their parents, the Late Abu Aiah Koroma Esq. and his wife, the Late Dank\u00e9 Evelyn Koroma.\u00a0 The focus of the foundation is on education and the main beneficiaries are children, the youth and the disadvantaged section of the population in Sierra Leone.\u00a0\u00a0 The Playhouse Foundation is registered charity in Houston, Texas and in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Some members of its board include Mrs Miriam Conteh-Morgan, Mrs Jeanne Kamara, Mrs Mamadi Demby, Mrs Valerie Gilpin, Mr. Ibrahim Othame Kabia, Ms. Clementine Nkweta, Ms. Finda Koroma and Mr. Abu Deedee Koroma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Beneficiaries of the Programme: <\/strong>The following schools are beneficiaries of the programme:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>R.C. Bayima, Tankoro Chiefdom<\/strong> (12 miles from the district headquarter town) which was opened in 1952 and has a total number of 246 pupils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ansarul Peyima, Kamara Chiefdom<\/strong> (10 miles from the district headquarter town) which was opened in 1977 and has a total number of 229 pupils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R.C. Kainkordu, Soa Chiefdom<\/strong> (19 miles from the district headquarter town)\u00a0 which was opened in 1952 and has a total number of 428 pupils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>U.M.C. Kangama, Gorama Kono Chiefdom <\/strong>(27 miles from the district headquarter town) which was opened in 1952 and has a total number of 249 pupils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R.C. Seidu, Toli Chiefdom <\/strong>(50 miles from the district headquarter town) which was opened in 1959 and has a total number of 149 pupils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R.C. Desembadu, Mafindor Chiefdom<\/strong> (46 miles from the district headquarter town) with a total number of 403 pupils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ansarul Masundu Kongoteh, Gbense Chiefdom<\/strong> (10 miles from the district headquarter town) which was opened in 1986 and has 271 pupils.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R.C.
