The erstwhile Chairman of the Peoples Movement Democratic Change Party (PMDC), has made public his intention of transforming the United Democratic Movement to a political party.<\/p>\n
Mohamed Bangura, former PMDC strongman may apparently be the leader and virtual flagbearer of the UDM party in the 2012 Parliamentary and Presidential election.<\/p>\n
In an interview with one of Sierra Leone Broadcast Cooperation\u2019s anchors, Asmieu Bah, during the usual \u2018Lunch Time Break\u2019 programme he said the UDM party caters for the youths of our society.<\/p>\n
According to Mr. Bangura, the UDM party is sure to have a leader that is below 45.<\/p>\n
He however called on the young people of Sierra Leone to think UDM, sleep UDM, eat UDM and consider UDM as the party that will bring hope to Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
He further told viewers of SLBC \u2018Lunch Time Break\u2019 programme that the movement is on the verge of transforming into a political party and after going through all the registration exercises; the party will be officially launched.<\/p>\n
He recounted on UDM\u2019s view of having young and youth dominant.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf youths support me, it is sure I and the UDM will win the 2012 elections,\u201d Mohamed Bangura said.<\/p>\n
