However, the legacy that Lawyer Sadu Bah leaves in the Sierra Leone Community in Washington, DC Metropolitan area after is demise is exemplary and worthy to be emulated if Sierra Leoneans will foster for a united and formidable community in Diasporas.\u00a0\u00a0 This was displayed on Sunday, January 2, 2011 when the Deputy Ambassador of Sierra Leone and host of Sierra Leonean organizations paid tributes to this staunch advocate and humanitarian in the Sierra Leonean community in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.<\/p>\n

In his condolence message to the family and friends of Mr. Bah, the Deputy Ambassador of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Ibrahim S. Conteh on behalf of Ambassador Bockarie Stevens said \u201che and the embassy staff were shocked and saddened when they heard the demise of Lawyer Sadu Mohamed Bah.\u201d\u00a0 He stressed that the passing away of Lawyer Bah is a big loss not only to his immediate family members and the Fullah Progressive Union but to the Sierra Leone Community as a whole.\u00a0 Ambassador Conteh said, Lawyer Bah was known for his love of his country of which service to his community was of paramount importance.\u00a0 The Deputy Ambassador reiterated that Lawyer Bah’s vision for Sierra Leone cut across religious, tribal and political barriers, and that he lived by and demonstrated in the United States by patronizing every Sierra Leonean Community organization.\u00a0 Furthermore, the deputy ambassador emphasized the Sierra Leone Embassy in Washington, DC will miss Lawyer Bah’s regular visits to the embassy where he was rendering free legal advice and participating in all embassy functions regarding Sierra Leone community affairs and most important he will be missed in the forthcoming celebrations of\u00a0 Sierra Leone independence silver jubilee anniversary (50th<\/sup> anniversary).\u00a0\u00a0 In conclusion, Deputy Ambassador said that, \u201cAs Sierra Leoneans mourn the loss of this great patriot, we should pray that the Almighty Allah grant his family and friends and indeed, the entire Sierra Leonean Community, solace, courage and strength in this period of grief.<\/p>\n

Sierra Leonean organizations like, the Fullah Progressive Union (FPU),\u00a0 Sanda Descendants Association, Tegloma organization, The APC, SLPP, North America Madingo Association (NAMA) and a host of\u00a0 alma mater from various high schools in Sierra Leone outlined\u00a0 the impact\u00a0\u00a0 Lawyer Bah made in their organizations both in Sierra Leone and the United States.\u00a0 All these organizations eulogize him in a positive way.\u00a0 They outline his financial and moral support in all these organizations and prayed that as Sierra Leoneans we should look beyond tribal and political lines but should focus on unity and development of Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n
