The Sierra Leone Shipping Agency (SLSA), whose parent body is Bollore Group of Companies, was announced winner for the contract to Sierra Leone\u2019s seaport runs by a private company.<\/p>\n
It must be noted that the SLSA and a company owned by a Philippine successful had their names short listed.<\/p>\n
The two were later asked to submit a financial and other projection that explains how they intend to run the seaport should any win the contract.<\/p>\n
SLSA-Bollore bidded USD 64 M while its opponent USD 9M.<\/p>\n
It was later rumoured that officials of the national commission for privatization (NCP) attempted receiving a bribe from the owner of the company that bidded the smallest amount.<\/p>\n
