Nigeria’s suspension from FIFA competitions has been provisionally lifted, pending a further court hearing on October 25. The world governing body announced on Monday that it had suspended the Nigerian Football Federation, owing to government\u2019s interference.<\/p>\n
While, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have now put off Nigeria’s Group B tie away in Guinea on Sunday until further notice after FIFA this week suspended the country from international football because of government interference in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).<\/p>\n
But the football governing body said on Friday that it would provisionally allow the team to return “after observing that the situation had taken a positive turn in recent days”, which should allow the game to go ahead. Nigeria won her opening Nations Cup qualifier 2-0 against Madagascar.<\/p>\n
