I am resident in South Africa, a patriotic Sierra Leonean who will love to see our country as the best nation in the world.\u00a0 I have been reading most of your articles about the good job the\u00a0APC government is doing. Well brother, it is actually wonderful news as long as these reports are not propaganda, our country has been through a lot of hell as\u00a0a result of this corrupt entities, and it is very hard to believe that this government is actually committed to its people while there are outstanding issues to be addressed, for example, the formal NRA boss Alie Sesay, who if I may be right, he should have been\u00a0attending court\u00a0for his corrupt activities.\u00a0 However, to date we have not heard about his status related to the crime he must have committed against the people of Sierra Leone.\u00a0 (Photo: Ibrahim Worneh, author)<\/em><\/p>\n

I have been following up on the development about Sierra Leone as you an editor and publisher of this newspaper, pleading to Sierra Leoneans to give President Koroma a second chance. \u00a0Every Sierra Leonean will love to see massive infrastructural development, good governance, zero tolerance in fighting corruption, and respect for human rights – as long as our people are living in serious poverty, their rights are being abused.<\/p>\n

I am a born SLPP supporter, but for the past years SLPP spent in power they disappointed most of us in the Diaspora, including those living in the country. \u00a0We want to see fervent actions being taking against those that have been accused of corruption.\u00a0 Let the law take its course, we want to hear every\u00a0agreement published between mining companies in a transparent manner, including the oil exploration license. \u00a0Nothing should be done in secret, we want peace and development to rein in our beloved country, as the President promised zero tolerance\u00a0on corruption it should be manifested clearly not through selective ways. \u00a0As you spell out in your last article that development is visible in Sierra Leone, so transparency should be so,\u00a0no tribalism.\u00a0 We as a young generation of the world\u2019s most blessed country should stand tall in implementing good policies that should benefit the majority of our people, not admiration of leaders\u00a0while ignoring issues affecting our people.<\/p>\n

I am highly proud to be a Sierra Leonean, from a country where hospitality is so high among our people. \u00a0A country with a rich cultural heritage and blessed with abundant mineral resources.<\/p>\n

I hope you will publish my opinion and let the government be aware that we are watching closely about every development taking place in our beloved country.\u00a0 We as the\u00a0people will decide\u00a02012 whether to re-elect President\u00a0Koroma\u00a0or not based on performance evaluation.<\/p>\n
