{"id":13430,"date":"2010-09-09T20:39:46","date_gmt":"2010-09-10T00:39:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=13430"},"modified":"2010-09-09T20:39:46","modified_gmt":"2010-09-10T00:39:46","slug":"apc-german-chapter-raise-massive-awareness-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=13430","title":{"rendered":"APC German Chapter raise massive awareness campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The German Chapter of the All People\u2019s Congress (APC) party is gathering Sierra Leoneans from across Europe this weekend in a fund raising and cultural night in Frankfurt.\u00a0 (<em>Photo: High Commissioner Edward Mohamed Turay and <\/em><em>Mohamed Salieu Bangura <\/em><em>German Chapter Chairman)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Acting Chairman of the Chapter, Mohamed Salieu Bangura said the fund raising programme is part of a wake-up call in response to the call of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma for Sierra Leoneans to come together and contribute towards national development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt\u2019s a kind of solidarity among Sierra Leoneans in the Diaspora, especially us in Europe,\u201d said Bangura, who also confirmed that they expect the event to raise massive awareness about Sierra Leoneans in Europe and the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis is why we have decided to invite all three Ambassadors from the United Kingdom, Brussels, and Germany to grace this occasion,\u201d the Chairman said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Already, Sierra Leoneans from all over Europe, especially Nordic countries, have started arriving for this all-important Diaspora event &#8211; and according to Sierra Leone\u2019s High Commissioner to the UK Edward Mohamed Turay; it will be an opportunity for him to promote Sierra Leone\u2019s upcoming Golden Jubilee on behalf of his mission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other officials of the Sierra Leone High Commission who are part of the London delegation include &#8211;
