{"id":12381,"date":"2010-08-10T09:11:05","date_gmt":"2010-08-10T13:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sierraexpressmedia.com\/?p=12381"},"modified":"2010-08-10T09:11:05","modified_gmt":"2010-08-10T13:11:05","slug":"togo-striker-adebayor-considers-return-to-national","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sierraexpressmedia.net\/?p=12381","title":{"rendered":"Togo striker Adebayor considers return to national"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Emmanuel Adebayor could play for Togo again if the country&#8217;s football bosses meet certain conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Manchester City striker quit the national side after a terrorist attack on their bus travelling to the African Nations Cup in Angola in January.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;If the organisation improved and things became much better, I will definitely play for Togo again,&#8221; he told City&#8217;s official magazine, Manc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Not doing so has been one of the tougher decisions I have had to make.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adebayor was a very influential member of the Togo squad but some have accused him of causing trouble within the team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Because I have tried to explain things about the national team and tried to help my country, I have become the main focus when any problems arise and people point to me as the cause,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Whenever we have tried to do things [the right way] it has been taken in a negative way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adebayor, who became a father for the first time in the summer, has said parenthood has changed his views on life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Things have obviously changed in the last year. I have a daughter now and I have to put her first.
